This was my first complete Boba Fett costume. It took me about 5 months and around $1000 to complete. I handpainted and assembled every piece. It was made primarily of 'seconds', or less desirable pieces, that I had accumulated in a bulk purchase. I wanted to use them to cut my teeth on, making a decent costume, and in the end selling it to finance the next, more accurate version. That has worked and version 2.0 is currently in progress. I wore this version only to San Diego Comic-Con 2002 and the Las Vegas IMAX premier of Episode II. It was a good costume overall and I was overall very pleased with my first attempt.
