This was my first real prop-quality costume. It is called 'Armor F/X' and is the most commonly available and frequently worn suit of replica stormtrooper armor on the market. The suit comes in kit form and with some motivation can be assembled in a matter of hours.

This is the same suit as before, only weathered for the sandtrooper look.

I used Flekstone artificial granite spray (santa fe variety) to achieve the blasted look. It shoots out thousands of multi-colored fleks of paint (white, grey, black, any number of assorted browns etc) and they combine to create a sandy look. As the paint dries it creates a physical texture. The texture allows you to create an acrylic wash (I used greens, browns, black, grey) and this wash can be rubbed into the texture, as desired, to create distinctly weathered sections. This effect is most noticeable on the forehead and abdomen of my suit.
